Well, your timing was ALMOST right. The boys and I were going to excavate the soil ( read pit run, in Preston) this weekend to put in trough drains, but we got jammed up trying to rent an excavator. I'll look around Jason, there used to be piles of it here. You're probably less than a 1/4 mile from the old Preston Sand and Gravel pit on Eagle st. You only need 1 yard? Ian

Hey Ian,

That would have been cool.  I think / hope 1 yard will do it.

I was going to pick up a yard today from Royal contractors on Elgin, but with all the rain not sure i want to put my ram through that. Would be pretty heavy.

Well, I am beat...spent most of the day today finishing off the pad fro my shed.

Moved a yard of backfill last night, compacted that this am and then moved 4 yards of gravel and compacted that today.

Now I can schedule the build date for the shed and I can clear out the garage.

LOL...my littel guy thinks its his shed.  I may have to build a samll play house on the other side of the yard for him!!!

Wife just called, building inspector just approved the shed.   :bananasmi :bananasmi Now I can fill it full of stuff and clear out the garage.  I may just get to drive my cuda yet this summer!!! :burnout:

Looks great Jason! I would board up (or wire fencing) the ends or you will have "critters " living under the shed in no time!
( ie, skunks  :eek4:)

Thanks.

That is my plan.  Hope to get to it this weekend, if not sooner.
