The 1964-1974 Plymouth Barracuda Web Ring lives!
« on: August 09, 2006 - 06:17:41 PM »
 The Barracuda Web Ring Rides Again!

Last night I adopted the Barracuda Web Ring from Gary V.  I believe I am the third ringmaster, all volunteers (no $ involved at all in the ring  :angelwings: ).  The new home page of the ring is at:

http://www.networksplus.net/standingwater/CWR/CudaWR.html

I'm currently in the process of cleaning up the ring (there are some dead sites ...  :sadwavey:), and am seeking the owner of this CC site.  I want to make these forums the forums of the ring, but need the CC's owner to join the ring so that folk can surf back to the ring.

Also, if anyone has a G-rated, substantially-noncommercial Cuda web site that is currently not a member of the ring (check the list at http://www.ringsurf.com/netring?ring=cuda;action=list ), please join!  Instructions on how to join are on the home page.

If you've never written a web page, a primer is also on the site.

Last, but not least, there's need for a similar Challenger Web Ring.  Any one game?     It is a long-term committment, so think a bit about it first ...   :clueless:

For anyone reading this post from years ago, the RingSurf owner must have died but left the ring-host software running.  Logons for ringmasters, etc. don't work.  So, unfortunately, that formerly great 'Cuda ring, from the earliest days of the WWW, is a zombie.   :scared:
