Upgrading stereo system

So I am looking to upgrade my stereo system in the hardtop and want some opinions . . . . I currently have a 12 disk player in the glove box, an amp in the trunk and a receiver with a cassette player and it also controls the disk player.  This was a good updated system when installed about 12 years ago I think but now I want to open up the glove box and upgrade the receiver.  What is everyone running?  I would really like to get something with a library storage for internal music so that I don't have the Ipod flopping around the interior floor . . . . All help is apprecaited!

I've put in a couple in the last two years, one for my GT is a Sony digital media reciever. It's nice that it holds a standard iPod inside of it, also has a front USB port but the radio is pretty poor. In my daughters car I installed a JVC Digital media receiver KD-X50BT, think the new model is KD-X250BT, that sounds better & has much better radio reception, she listens to her iPhone music & Pandora using Bluetooth. I also mounted an external desktop cradle for an easy charging port.
Looks like the KD-X80BT may support the disk changer. 

They both use the single big buttton input approach which I don't care for but seems to be THE Thang these days.

So with the dash trim in the ebody, how does everyone deal with the trim around the stereo?  It just plain doesn't fit with the trim.  I certainly will keep the dash trim and deal with the stereo trim not being present.  Also how do you test an antenna?  It didn't work with the last stereo but I thought it was the stereo . . . now I can't seem to get it to work with the new stereo either . . . .

I was lucky to find one with a flat face last time and installed it from the rear...don't know exactly how I would handle a curved face like the two I mentioned but I would probably make a custom bezel & install from the rear.
Antenna just has to have continuity like any other circuit, test with an ohmmeter.... I've had problems getting a ground where it mounts to the body, might need to scrape a little on the underside of the fender..

I put in a stereo with Bluetooth. It is nice, get in and it is already to go with where you left off the last time.  No cables, leave it in your pocket, can even make and receive phone calls.  I went with an Alpine that was about $130, but I am sure there are many options out there!
