Ok, so its an old thread I started a couple years back -- but wanted to followup since I finally got this.
Found a complete setup at Carlisle this year EXCEPT for the cable return spring and the little plate that is used to provide the bolt on point for teh cable end.... used, for $45. handle, bracket, cable, remote latch.
Then I found the little plate and the two screws for it at another vendor as part of a whole front latch strut assembly....he wanted $10 for the whole thing....offered the guy a few bucks for the plate only and viola...had it.
I only had to provide a return spring, and I found that at a vendor (aftermarket, but it works) for $2. So about $50 into the whole deal. Plus a few odd screws from my screw/bolt bins and just an hour or so of time.
Not a huge "treasure" at Carlisle this year, but one that I will smile every time I use it (as long as it works...LOL)
Works great so far! And a far easier install than I feared....was able to get to everything without pulling the grill.
