Mancini 120 amp wiring question
« on: August 05, 2013 - 09:05:47 AM »
My old alt had 3 connections:   One larger wire   (for 12 v) and 2 smaller wires.

1.  The two smaller wires are the question:  On the new 120 amp alt, there are two small posts to attach my two small wires:  Does it matter which smaller wire goes to what post ?    (The large post for 12v is a no brainer)

assuming the new alt is unregulated internally they are just the field connections so power in & power out to the regulator which controls the groun for the field so it doesn't matter which wire goes where .
