1970 Cuda front disc brakes

Does anyone know if a 1973 Ply Satallite B body OE Disc Brake set up from the spindles up will work on my 1970 Cuda.  I have a guy willing to give me the whole set up free...

if so..what is the difference?  is the proportioning valve the same?  Thanks in advance for all your help!

The spindles on the 73 up B body are much taller , the rotor may cross over to the 73 up Dart spindle & the caliper & caliper mount will work . The FMJ spindle is easier to find & works as well , Volre /Mirada / Caravelle/ 5th ave etc

It will work.  The 73 b body setup is essentially the same as the FMJ setup except for the fact that it uses pin type calipers and not slider calipers.  One advantage of the pin type is that it is what Chrysler used on the e bodies so you can run the brakes the same way as the factory did.  Also in 73 they standardized the rotors (which lasted all the way to 1989) so the rotors and bearings are affordable and common.

The 73+ B (and all FMJ and R) spindle is 3/8" taller  so you will definitely need to have an alignment done afterwards.
