2013 nats
« on: August 11, 2013 - 11:18:12 AM »
Went out to the big show yesterday and had a blast. The weather was perfect and the place was as busy as I've seen it in 5 years. The mopar hobby looks healthy to me! Only gripe I have about the show is all the darn golf carts runnin around, getting worse and worse.

yaaaaa....... you must be a young guy with a great back. All that walking/standing is a killer on my L5 after awhile. Its one reason I don't go to BIG farm /estate auctions any more. Cant stand for 10 hours. just wait................ its coming your way......................

I'm 48.  5' 10" 168lbs
I see a chiropractor once a week for my bad back. I've been laid out months at a time with back injuries.

Do I need a golf cart to drive around for 10 hours ? Heck no....I walk and walk and walk....We do 14 hour days at Carlisle for 3 days straight....Maybe that's why I'm 168lbs and not 268 lbs.... :dunno:

I've seen the people on these golf carts....lazy over weight people are the majority.....

Maybe if a person can't walk for 10 hours...they should try walking for 1 hour, then sitting down for 15 mins and then walking for another hour.....you'd be suprised what you can accomplish...

If you have a medical condition and you require assistance then get a single person electric scooter type thing like they rent at Carlisle and make your over weight lazy kids walk... :2cents:

Yea I'm quick to judge....

2 tonners are an entirely different issue..... I understand what your referring to. And yes I walked the entire time @ Carlisle.

I walk too but or members that rented carts were eager to help me get place to place when I had to move big parts.  Thanks guys.

I'll admit they can be a pain but as Bigs and Cudamann said don't judge cause you never know what illness one has that needs it!
