Z bar swivel head placement on bell housing???
« on: August 15, 2013 - 10:07:36 PM »
As the post reads.
For a 1971 Cuda 440 4 speed.
Is there a bracket for the z-bar swivel head that attaches to the transmission bell housing or does the z-bar swivel head screw into the transmission bell housing without a bracket? I've seen a two bolt bracket on some google pics.
I did a search on here and found how a bracket is attached to the car frame for one side of the z-bar, but for the other end of the z-bar, I couldn't find anything.

Any help/pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Tom

usually with a big block it threads into the housing , A body small block uses a bracket to center with the frame mount
