Right the old body style 93 and down did have a kingpin axle. But his is the later as was mine. The f350 had a 60 in it until 92 then switched to ball joints and I have heard also some of the newer superdutys had Dana 50s. The dodges are good trucks but for me I would rather have a Cummins in a ford.

Here are the conversion kits for Ford hubs.

Sorry, just not a fan of anything on a Ford, from the Sterling axles, TTB, and especially the newer twin turbos, where you have to remove the cab to change a fuel pump! Their front suspension trailing arm setup is bad, the DPF setup shoots flames out of the exhaust, etc etc.
People still insist that Ford is the better truck, somehow.
Sorry, rant over.

I've been working my a$$ off and just sold my daily driver!! I'm finally in the position without a vehicle and with enough money that I can start looking for a good cummins. Not a new one but a good 2nd gen with lower miles

Got the first part done. Now find a ford and swap the engine and trans into it and you will be set. Those trucks are expensive to keep on the road with the quirks of a dodge.
Congrats on the new truck NC, they are great trucks!
I bought a new ford powerjoke 3/4 ton in 2004. That truck never went two weeks without having to go to the shop to fix something. Nearing the end of the warranty, we figured we could never afford that truck without warranty coverage so I traded it in on the 2007 Dodge Cummins 1 ton. It has never seen the inside of the dealership garage except to check two recalls. Never broken once. In my experience, the ford is the quirky vehicle.  :2cents:
As the bumper sticker saying goes, "I'd rather be 'Cummin' than 'Strokin'"

My wife has had her 2002 used Ram for 2 yrs and all I had to replace so far was a 25 amp fuse and the radiator cracked at the plastic where it bolts to the mount and had a small leak. Bought a new rad and installed no issues since.
