The officer jumps out of his car starts looking over the fence and proceeds to drool. i asked him if there was a noise complaint and he says " yeah, yeah but what is that motor it is awesome.  so we proceed to talk cars for about 20 min he checks out the car. Well guys it is a sad day, I have had to make a critical decision. I am at the point where I don't think I can finish the car and will probably have to part her out, or sell her. the body is almost ready for final paint the motor is done and tuned tranny done the only thing left was the rear end paint and assembly. Sad day

If I may ask, what is driving this? Since you are in the military, I suspect I might know but am wondering.

Can't even imagine...  :22yikes:   well actually I can...

Give it a week, a month or a year... then decide. Give yourself a chance to change your mind.
Awesome build so far and very selfish of me but I would really like to see it finished.
  :2cents:

Very best wishes to you either way.

Going through the big D haven't touched her in almost a year and she is still sitting in the exes garage. I have no place to store her or work on her so..... Not to mention the money aspect. got almost 55K in her and nothing to show for it.

Yep, been there done that. Got that T shirt back in 86 after graduating SFQC and getting orders for Oki. I had an AAR at that time I had been working on for about 4 years, did exactly the same thing; sold it and all of the parts pieces off. In retrospect, I should have put it into a storage unit and paid a year down and let it sit. I truly regret selling that car, but it is what it is.

The last two years of my life have been down in that same rabbit hole...  I've only now clawed my way out and back to the garage...
Stay true to who you are and what you want to do...  If you can afford to hang on to the car, do it...  find a way...
There will be a day when you're sitting in it and all will feel right!  It's part of you...  a reflection of you...
