:dontknow:  I have seen a corvette like that in a shop before.  But a gutted out corvette is pretty light.  Just fiberglass and tires.

Yeah - up here there is a Quaker Steak and Lube that has like a 72 Vette up on the wall like that. But then again they have a sprint car on the ceiling too, so anything could happen.

In orlando last month I ate at "the race cafe" or something like that.
they had real dragsters, funny cars, unlimited hydroplane boats, nascar cars and monster trucks all over the walls and ceilings.
Real ones with the engines still in.
when you go in, you walk under a monter truck and under the U2 unlimited hydroplane hanging on the wall.
Never saw so many hemi engines in one place. most of the cars and boats had hemis still in them.
the place was tall enough that a coupler of the dragsters were vertical, like they were pulling wheelies.

That sounds like an awesome place to eat at.

The back wheel is resting on a window.  Looks liek somebody did a photoshop job, and ran out of room, so just overlapped the images.  Pretty sure that even gutted, the glass would break.

Besides, who would stick a Cuda on a wall, instead of restore it??

The pic is definitely Photo enhanced. Look at the shadow on the wall. It looks like a shadow that would exist if the light were directly above it, which it's not.

  BB73Challenger,
Is that the Quaker steak and lube in Youngstown??? I've been there. Neat place for sure. I love the chart on the outside about the hotness of different peppers. Oh, that's why God created cold beer.  :grinyes:

the race cafe had about 50 tvs playing everywhere with nothing but racing, crashes etc. all kinds of racing.
I was a great place and had great food also.

If it were a "real" car up there... there'd only be one strip of flourescent lighting showing on the car... not two at 2 different angles... like Mark said... nice Photoshop work... ;)

Sort of reminds me of the Moon landing arguments with the light angles and all. Shadows going the wrong direction and light on sides that shouldn't have light, nice job placing that car on the wall but wish they'd have put it in my driveway!

The coolest "suspension" I ever saw was at Summit racing, they had the Swampfox's dragster hanging from the ceiling, I posted a pic about ayear ago, just real neat.
