Went to this show. It was awesome! Tons of nice Mopars.  Of course I forgot the camera.

Did get inspired to maybe start working on the car again!

I can imagine the Mopar racing was good... :burnout:

But how was the "Show Field" Was there lots of cars ?

How many show cars would you estimate ?

I wanted so badly to go, but I signed up for the Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope months ago....Thought that was kind of more important (walking in memory of my Sister) :angelwings:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

I am going to guess 50 cars on the show field. Not large in numbers but some very nice cars.

90 % of the cars racing were Mopars. Several challengers, cudas, dusters, chargers and quite a few mid to late sixties belveders, coronets, satalites etc.

It was a good day with pretty decent weather as well.

It was great.

Ran the car in test and tune. First time ever drag racing. Was harder than I thought. Chaulk it up to one more thing I suck at. It is something you need to practise to get good at but it was great fun.

Wow thats quick.

What was in it? 4 speed or auto?
I love the smell of rubber and race fuel reminds me of going to the track when I was a kid. If I had lots of disposable income I would run a drag car in a heartbeat.

Brian, you'd have loved my uncle Bill Kidd's 23 T with the Hilborn injected hemi he used to run in the 70's. It was a NHRA record holder out of London, Ontario. Ian
