Thanks for sharing what you paid for it. Sounds like a decent deal for a low miles clean original car.

As for the tires, yeah, riding around on 15 year old May-Pops would make me nervous too. I'm not sure what the original size tires were for that car. Maybe the tire size and inflation pressure sticker is still in your door jamb? If not, I'm sure you can figure out the original tire size using online resources or something. Then look at an online tire size conversion reference like this one from TireRack.com http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=45 to find the modern size tire you need. Once you decide on what tire size you need, shop online for them. My wife's car has an odd sized 17" tire on it and I couldn't find tires locally for it anywhere. Finally decided to shop online for them and I found a set on ebay for a decent price and I bought them. It was my first time shopping for tires online and it was relatively painless.
Cheers!

Came with F70 14's...  which seems to translate to 215 70 14.  That's exactly what it has currently on the front, with 245 60 14's on the rear.  I think I'll try 215 70 14's all around...  have to buy online as you suggested.  I'm probably the only one, but I think the stock 70's look fine, especially to keep it looking as close to original as possible.  The 14" wheels are small... and the lower profile tires make them look even smaller to me.  The taller 70's on the front fill the wheel well nicely.

Nice car

Still learning? Cool... for 72 if it's a Cuda (BS first two characters of the VIN) and was one of the select six colors ...ie EV2, and also had the G36 body color racing mirrors than you have a factory body colored grille.

nice cuda, congrats!don,t worry that you paid to much, that car will retain its value. Its not like laying down 50,000.00 for a new challenger and watch it depreciate in half after 2years.It was a good find. :smokin: :grinyes: :dogpile:
