Stopping Power: Before and After Changes

Would like to hear stories on brake changes you did from OEM to aftermarket/OEM upgrades.

Be specific on what you had before, how it stopped then vs. now, your engine/trans, what improvements.
Your feedback from what you've done.

I'm not building a T/A or AAR handling set up so ultimate cornering/handling/braking isn't my objective.
Current plan on having OEM Kelsey Hayes pin disc calipers and 11" big drums out back on a Dana 60.

My car seemed to stop pretty well before. So why should I go more?
I'm just trying to conclude why I need to spend up to another grand on upgrades and if it's necessary or not.
