Worked today with a guy that has a...

Plum Crazy 69 Charger black vinyl top that he drives to work Every Day! LOL. How cool is that? It's kinda rough, needs a little TLC, but he is a Mopar guy through and through. And he drives it every day. We had a great time swapping Mopar stories from when we were kids on up. Every once in awhile, work can be so enjoyable that you have to remind yourself that you are getting paid for it! We had a good time. It sure makes the day go quicker. His stepson talked him into driving it/getting it out of the barn. He says he is having so much fun with it, that he wants to restore it now. He even drives it out of state and stuff on fun runs with the wifey. That is cool, in my book!

That is cool !! I am a driver also I just love to hear the motor growl, no radio just engine music. I will drive every dry day off from work I can even if it costs me 25 bucks a week for just short trips around the town. I will get back to work on the restoration ,....... eventualy.

Very cool, Gumby!  Always brightens the day to run into another car guy/gal!

It was originally plum crazy. Repainted yellow at one point. Repainted again plum crazy. Paint is fading and yellow shows thru in spots. Missing front grill. Lenses faded and cracked in some spots. Point is, he is DRIVING it and enjoying it. He drives it every day and enjoys it, and gets high fives for doing so. Rust in the trunk. Smile on the face. Has to park in the weeds, because reverse is out right now. How often do any of YOU go to work and see a cool Charger in the parking lot these days? He is going to put it up for winter and work on it. That is hard core cool. lol.
