How do my plugs look
« on: October 20, 2013 - 02:41:44 PM »
This is what my plugs look like after 1000 miles of running over the past 8-10 months, is this what they should like the car runs like a top starts right up, had some pinging issues during the hottest part of the summer (110' welcome to desert southwest) with the A/C running, added a little racing gas and the pinging when away. Back to running 91 octane and no problems. Just trying to fine tune and dial in the car.

I just finished the car February, its been running great and starts right up, had some minior issues This is my first build so I am a little worried about everything I did most of the work myself with a lot help from friends, and a lot help from board. Just wanted to pull some plugs to make sure everything was working as it should, looks as if it is. So I can start  worrying about some other fictitious problems.

Look a tad rich to me, but maybe put in some new ones to verify, since these supported
a new engine break-in. Rings gotta seal, and all that cam lube, etc.

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I'd say they are mis-firing!
