Can TTI 1.625 to 1.750 stepped headers...
« on: April 25, 2015 - 03:58:03 PM »
...be mounted to my 340 before installing it back in my 1970 Cuda, or do they need to be installed after the motor is in the car?

These are TTI 340BE headers (above the steering link)

The way I do it yes , I install the engine on the K frame from the bottom , easy & fast to install & the engine can be complete going in .
If you are installing from the top the headers cannot be attched while installed

Set them in place as you are lowering the engine in. They fit pretty tight around the torsion bars, so not sure how easy it would be if the engine is on the k member.
