What are these?

Can anyone tell me what the black piece is? I know that the flat piece with the bolt goes inside the 1/4 panel at quarter window
but what is it for ?  And does anyone know where I can get another for the other side?

The flat piece with the bolt is an "up stop".

I will say in the 30+years of restoring Mopars, mostly Cudas/Challengers, I've never seen that black thingmagig....

I actually took that black thingy off of the car (4 years ago). But lost a whole slew of pictures in the computer somehow.

Not e brake. It's a thin piece of metal.
