71 340 Motor and Engine Bay Detailing Pictures

Looking for some high-quality pictures of detailed out 71 340 engine bays. Looking to see how wires are routed, detail marks, etc. Anything you have will help me out!

were they all supposed to be blue?  i thought 340s, 440s, and hemis were orange??

The change over to blue was in the spring of 71.

They switched to blue sometime in 71. Post the build date and Alan will know. I'm thinking yours will be orange but I can't remember the date of yours and don't have the info handy.

The change was sometime in March/April. Post the stampings on the block.  Orange engines were built at the Windsor plant and will be stamped GW340.  Blue engines were assembled at the Mound Rd plant and will be stamped GM340.

Also around this same time, cars that came with plain steel wheels with dog dish hub caps received "black" wheels.  The wheels were previously painted body color.

I want to say your car was built in January off the top of my head I remember it being somewhere around my birthday (1/17) so I'm thinking orange.
