500Hp street/strip sure grip, cone, clutch or other
« on: December 15, 2013 - 04:51:39 AM »
Hi Team,

I want to change out my 489 centre with an open centre to a suregrip/possilock with 3.55's etc. in time I will be running a stroked small block with 500-550 Hp with auto, what is the general thought on the type of Limited slip centre, should I use the clutch type, cone type or is there better, my preference is not a spool.

Hi greg,

You are going to need a Tru-Trac buddy. We have this stuff here in Australia too, i can hook you up when you are ready or find parts in America when you are over their mate.

Thanks Kenny,

I have a lead on a spare 489 centre so I will be building it here rather than buying in a complete drop in unit by the looks. will keep you posted.
