fast ratio pitman arm for a 73 challenger

I have some time off between Christmas and New Years and want to do a upgrade or two to my car. I have looked at the TA sytle pitman arms available from Summit, Jegs, Hotchkis and P-S-T. The websites list the part number as the same for all e bodies 70-74. I thought that mopar went to a bigger splined steering box in 73, and thus a different pitman arm is required. Does anyone know of a source for a TA pitman arm for this box. I believe firmfeel may  offer one, but their price is also about $100 more than what the same part from a more common source. Thanks

I would measure the diameter of the shaft in the box you have & see if it matches the daimeter of the cheaper arm

All sources I can find indicate a different part for '73-up  Hotchkis being the exception but I'm certain they are in error.
As far as price for the fast ratio pitman arm & idler arm I see nothing lower than Firm Feel. OE replacements are much lower cost.

You are correct , 73 and later boxes did have the bigger shaft. Mine has the 73 and later box and I bought mine from FF .

I put Firm Feel fast ratio pitman and idler in my 70 Challenger last spring and it is a great upgrade.  I also put in their stage 2 steering box (the main reason for my front end work), and also their UCAs.  Handles very well, like a new car.  Good luck with yours!
