Hotchkis Tuned Fox Shocks
« on: March 28, 2014 - 12:37:16 PM »
Anyone got any info. on these from installing them......or has anyone heard any feedback from others?

I think theyre called the 1.5 Street Performance Series (1.5 SPS)  They're a little pricey but am curious if they'r worth the money.  The rep. at Hotchkis rants about them...says they are better than the previous Hotchkis Tuned Bilsteins.

Just looking for feedback/info on them.

Lets do a comparison here - I just took delivery of RideTech HQ shocks.  These are the adjustable units, made by FOX as well.  I don't know the difference between the Hotchkis and the RideTech so we'll have to find out.  I'm installing the shocks this weekend.

They are really good.  You can't go wrong.  I'm guessing the difference between the Hotchkis and the Ridetech is the specific valving they put in the shock.  Here's some videos:

I have Ridetech coilovers (made by Fox) on my Cuda... they have a 1 million mile warranty.   ;D

Anybody know if the custom settings are specific to a car with the entire Hotchkis setup?  I'm going to be doing a mix & match of parts from different suppliers and wonder if that would reduce the benefit of these.  And does anybody know how 'pricey' is pricey for a set of four?

Thanks, Jim
