'70 Cuda and '70 Challenger R/T
« on: May 10, 2005 - 09:10:20 PM »
I admit it........I'm a B Body guy ('68 and '69 Coronet R/T's), but I really enjoy rebuilding and modifying those 1/18 scale ERTL diecasts. I've done plenty (only MoPars), but these two E Bodies are a couple of my favorites. Is anybody else into rebuilding, repainting and modifying these things like I am? It's sure an inexpensive break from doing the restoration thing on a real car, and besides, you get to see the finished product a hell of alot sooner! Let me know what you guys (and girls) think!

About all I do is the 1/28th scale plastic models.  I'm currenlty working on a 71 GTX, and, have a 71 HEMI Cuda and a 71 340 Duster next on the list.

Thanks for all the kind words folks! Working on this small scale stuff keeps my sanity. My '69 Coronet R/T (real car) resoration project is painfully slow. This way, I can kick but on a small scale and actually see results. It's a great stress reliever. Back in the early '80's I used to build contest quality MoPars (1/25 scale) and competed nationally. I took second place in 1989 with my '69 R/T convertible. Once modelling is in your blood................  :coffee:

How about a white 70 Challenger R/T which is easy because the Vansihing Point cars but with dog dish hubcaps and a 440 Magnum engine?
Mine also has full black interior not black/white like the VP models.  :D Whaddya say eh?!?!?!?  :grinyes:
