Body and paint shops,,HELP,,
« on: January 09, 2014 - 08:05:28 PM »
I am having a hard time finding a decent body and paint shop for my challenger. I live in Louisville, and have family in Michigan. So travel back and forth
Can you guys list some of the people or shops you used,,I would appreciate it.
I have the car all tore down to a roller, I just need the body work and paint,,,I plan on reassembling it.
Not looking for a concours restoration. Just a really nice job for a driver.
Thanks for any info

I can't help you because I'm nowhere near those areas.... :banghead:

However....

I think it would be a great help if you let us know what your projected budget is :dunno:

For example, I have a couple of shops I regularly use, but when local people ask me, and tell me they're looking for a full paint and body for $7500 or sometimes less :sly: .....I can't help them....The shops I use start at $10K :sadwavey:

From what I have looked into so far, I'm sure something decent will be in the 10-20 k plus range.

LA Miller Restorations is in Fort Jennings, OH, near Lima. Tony is a member here (fishn4cuda), a friend of mine, and has my car at the moment.

Specialty Paint Applications in Cicero, Indiana. Just did my cuda, and does a lot of custom builds for muscle cars, does top notch work for reasonable prices. Not fast though, had my car for about 6 months. Let me know if your interested I can hook you up.

Ray,
keep honking I'm reloading
