Dana Rear End out of a Hemi RR
« on: January 05, 2014 - 05:40:02 PM »
I've still got a Dana 4.10 track-lock rear end out of a 69 hemi road runner.  Needs rebuilt, but i've verified all the numbers on it that prove what it's out of.  I also talked to the original owner and verified that it came from a hemi road runner.  WIW???  I'm planning on selling it I think.

Original perches remain, there are two additional ones that were added as well.  I'm sure they can easily be removed.

around $1200 to $1500.  Why didn't the original owner want it?   :clueless:

Is the car still around?

Curious how you would know / prove its from a Hemi car, no VIN or other ID on rear-ends.  Just as easily could be from 440-4spd car?
Not that any of this matters, I'd say $1000

The rear end was in my cuda when I bought it.  I pulled this rear end out, and using a thread on this forum that lists dana numbers, I was able to isolate that it's from a 68-69 b body track lock 4.10 car.  The original owner had told me that it came out of a pickup truck, so I called him to ask him how that could happen.  When I did, he said "Oh, ****!  You're right I forgot.  I took the ring and pinion out of a truck in the junkyard.  The rear end came out of my buddy's old '69 hemi road runner."

so, proof?  Not exactly I guess...
