Touch up paint and fixing paint snags

i just finsihed up the paint on my cuda. it looks like there were some chips on the door edges that were touched up. One of them has a drips/sags in the paint. how easy are these to fix? what type or how should i ask for touch up oaint for future scratches? There is some slight overspray on the hood. should i use the clay bar to remove it? what about slight swirl marks in the paint?

What paint was used- base/clear or single stage(just color) ? Depends how bad/deep the chips and runs are. Pics??

It was 2 stage. The drips are from where it looked like the doors cam in contact with the fenders during install. The touch up done looks like single stage. My paint guy says it's an easy fix. the pics don't show the sags well.

With 2 stage, the only real and accurate answer that can be given is if one actually sees the aeras in question

Drips are a REAL *****, and almost impossible to correct with two stage paint.  Remember, with 2 stage  (or base/clear coat), the color base is actually almost flat in finish.  The clear coat is what gives the base coat its gloss

So if you sand thru the clear, you will end up with a spot of flat color, and the only way to fix that is to clear back over it

So..........Any imperfection really takes sanding to get rid of it.  So be VERY careful how much clear coat you remove

Large drips almost can be fixed in the clear coat. 

If the drip is only in the clear, you are in luck.  Carefully block sand the high clear areas.  You will see when you get it level as you go in the surface.  Go slow with 1500-2000 grit  Finish with 2500-3000.  Then buff    Be warned, if you go thru the clear, you will have the respray clear over that area

If you go thru the clear, you will need a "blending" type repair:  Iv'e done this type repair before with a touch up gun, and 1500-3000 grit, then buff to final blend

If you sand thru the base, it will be way more involved

cool. he's a pro, so i believe that he can make it right. all in all, it's a great driver quality paint job.
