Removing Distributor Shaft Snap Ring

How the heck do I remove the snap ring from the top of the distributor shaft?  Thanks.

You will just have to pry it off, those things are just a C clip and not that easy to grab on to like a circlip :2thumbs:

I actually found putting it back on was easier.  It was a beast to remove.  I ended up using a jeweler's screwdriver and a pair of tweezers to get it apart.

to remove the top shaft there is a circlip in there , I assume this is the one you are trying to remove , I usually just grab one side with needle nose pliers & pull , you can rebend the clip & slide it back on
