Manuals, literature, etc
« on: January 11, 2014 - 09:08:58 PM »
One thing that is missing, unless I have not been able to find it, is a posting for Manuals, Parts Books, Dealer Books and literature in general. If I have missed a location for the printed material please point it out. Great site, thanks!   :thinkerg:

I think AARTA340 is refering to a section on Cuda-Challenger.com that needs a section for literature, manuals and other paper documentation for viewing and reading purposes. :2thumbs:

hemiken hit the target. I would have thought there would have been a place here for buying, selling any and all original printed materials for the cars. Owners manuals, dealership parts books etc. I am sure there are quite a few car owners who have picked  up this type of stuff and have extras and this place is a good area to keep it in the hands of the people who own the cars.

Maybe not enough interest, but worth considering.  I remember locating the service manual for my Cuda. I have since found another and thought it might be nice list it for an interested party here.  :2thumbs:

I agree it would be good to have something like that, i do not think their is anything in the archives like that either, maybe HK can jump on here and sort this out or even create a section just for this kind of thing, as i know he would be all for it also......... :grinyes:

If you are talking having digital copies of the fem and such online, there would be legal issues with doing so.

Jamiez,

No to the digital stuff. Besides, that is kinda hard to display at a Car Show. It is always cool seeing the Service Manual and other supporting documents in the front or back seat of the car. Have seen some with a display table showing the original brochures, etc available at the time their car was new on the market. Right now I am looking for the dealer data book for my 71 Grancoupe. I am sure there are some out there and will probably take time to find. :wavingflag:
