can you convert a steering column from shift on the column to no shifter on the column?

Car is center console, but somebody put a column in the car that has the shifter. I see on e-bay were someone has the upper non shifter column for sale and I would like to convert the column.

Yes it can be done if you have the parts.

I have a pdf file that shows re building a column shift type steering column.

Once you have the other parts, you'll figure it out with the pdf.
