Got our 1/2" stainless steel fittings and lines installed....  Hopefully early this week we will get our "hoselocks" from Pi-thon.  then we can tighten these hoses up and do the radiator lines too!  We finished painting the panel and bracket that will hold the electric servo heater valve- so that will go in monday or tuesday.   Then pulleys lined up.....   belts....  and hopefully "Lights Camera Action" this Saturday

Red, simply outstanding!!  So what  air cleaner will top off the engine? It'll be hard to find one that will stand out as well as your engine.

We are soooo close I actually dream about it at night.  We're looking for the air cleaner that matches the valve covers so we can paint it like them.  I can't seem to find them.  I can find the MP black wrinkle finish, but not the chrome.  If any of you have seen them, let me know.

We're going to video tape it and will have to figure out how to get it into digital format so we can get it up here and on our website.  I don't want to spend money on a digital video camera. We'll figure it out.

April...I'll call you Saturday!!

I Should fly down too , in a perfect world
Oh well Looking good , do NOT rush to fire it up , check all the connections & Gauges , fill the carb with fuel so you do not have to crank it over , try to get the timing set before cranking it over so it will fire up immediatly , make sure you run the engine for 20-30 minutes at 1800-2000 rpm try NOT to shut the engine down unless you absolutly have to , adjust timing as soon as it is running to prevent it heating too much , as you turn the dist you will clearly Hear the engine run better , it will lose rpm if the timing is retarded too much & will start to pop into the exhaust if it is too far advanced , then set float levels on the carb , I recommend lowering the float levels in the carb Before starting the engine , it is far easier to raise the float level sto the correct level once it is running i I recommend a high anti scuff oil like rotella or 10-30 Mopar HD  diesel oil for break in
Take Your Time & have fun !!!
