Indy EZ Heads
« on: March 29, 2014 - 11:46:34 AM »
I have these heads and talking to people lately they say the price went way up on these heads. Just cruising through Hughes website and they are available fully assembled bolt on for $1885 which is less than I paid 7 years ago. These are true bolt ons with 75cc chambers for those with low CR engines. Hughes part #HUG4950

4Cruzin - this post was to simply advise people there some good alternatives out there. Indy heads are one of the best out of the box choices with absolutely no extra work required compared to some of the 440 Spurce and Eddy options where valves are not all the same height and porting required. My heads have the Chev 11/16 valves, 10 degree locks and came with spec springs for the cam all in the basic price so they simply bolted on and I have never looked back since. Plus they are angled valve and have a true swirl type chamber. Just plain good bang for the buck as compared to heads one buys then having to start machining them.
Sorry I meant angled plug not valve, duh!
