Welcome,

There is a good 73 Cuda in Brisbane for $43K right now I saw advertised on Mopar Market, I bought my Cuda out of Melbourne,, yes you can buy from the US and that is what I had intended on doing, that said, my car came up, I did the exchange rate conversion, took 10K off (this is pretty much what you need to budget to import by the time you pay shipping to exit port, cleaning, shipping to Au, customs fee's, duties, quarantine (if its slightly dirty) and so on. Then what you have is the US$ cost of a local car if it was sitting in the US, you can also easily have a look at it rather than take someones word for it etc. :aussie:

thanks everyone.
i actually have a 65 Riviera that I bought a few years ago from a seller in Kansas City.
Lucky enough to have a Riv Owners Assoc. member look at it for me and it was a deal.
lotsa time and money getting it over here, but well worth it.
Nice Blog Swedee. I shoulda done the same when I went to town on the Riv
(carpet, rubber, light rust issues)
I'll check that car in Brissy - up there in a coupla weeks.... hmmmm

I'm ready to rock if I can find a solid 70 Challenger. Convertible would be top of the list, but a hard top would turn me on too.

to start with I'm not too worried if it's #s matching etc. just a good honest car

More interested in finding something rust free and solid. Would be good to get something with a period correct engine in a cool color. Plum crazy is top o the list, but open to anything cool.

This forum is great and I'm learning heaps
