I don't think so. The adjusters are different. I have QA1 double adjustable

Thanks Brad,

they do look similar and have single and double adjustable, im still perplexed at which what I'm going to go with shocks!!!!! I think I might, oh I have no idea...

Take a look at viking shocks - The have a rebuild able double adjustable smooth bodied shock set for $599.00 for all 4.  That's cheap and the warranty is pretty good as well.

Varishock looks a lot like them too.

There are any number of quality shock manufacturers out there. Short of anodizing their products, like Afco does, they all mostly smooth body aluminum tubes. Its hard to really change that look at all despite what's inside.

What do you want to do with your car, what type of spring rates do you have, how much tinkering do you want to do, these are all relevant questions to ask yourself in deciding which way to go with shocks. If you want to set it and forget, you don't want adjustables. If you aren't meticulous with note taking, you certainly don't want double adjustables. If you do occasional bracket racing, you would probably want a more predictable shock than one that could alter your e.t. potential for a few hundredths. All stuff to think about...

Seems as the QA1 brothers split and one started Viking shocks.

Although I don't see anywhere you can buy 4 for $599 - $699 yes.


Take a look at viking shocks - The have a rebuild able double adjustable smooth bodied shock set for $599.00 for all 4.  That's cheap and the warranty is pretty good as well.

Thank you all for your input, very much appreciated. Right now, std spring rates, the car will be driven somewhat hard on the street. Some 1/4 mile runs once in a while. Our roads out here are horible, I had an A body years back, very low ride hight, I had great success with Koni as I could adjust the rebound, once set to what I liked I then just left it, but, the ability to do this was night and day in how the car handled and it almost removed all bottoming out on nasty roads.

Id like to be able to easily  adjust the rebound on and off, Koni you have to undo the top of the shock, compress it and rotate it to adjust, the QA1's single adjust has at least the knob to adjust externaly etc,

I may increase TB diam pending, oh, its a 73 Cuda 340, so not being a BB helps.

right now, Koni are available out here, everything else is ex US, to rebuild others will mean shipping back to the US,,, just more $$$.

I've spoken with both QA1 and Strange reps at recent shows.   I feel the QA1 are more willing to work with you towards your needs, and the QA1 have more size choices (lengths).  I have old RED Konis .. still good, but I'd like to eventually get the dbl-adjustable types.   Strange is actually very near my home...  and I may try to work with them on a set of dbl-adj.   I have 1.24 TBs and 225 #/inch rear fiberglass leafs, so I want to be confident whatever shocks I'd get would be a good match to the suspension (Koni had re-valved my shocks a little stiffer for me many years ago).
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!
