Pics of DY3 Cuda?
« on: March 01, 2014 - 12:29:58 AM »
I did a search came up with some challengers but cant find a Cuda.
I am restoring a DY3 coded cuda, and plan on going black, but a friend told me I should look into the cream color and keep it original.
He thought is looked cool and you don't see em often. .

Anyone with link to some?
thx

Pretty rare colour to find on a Barracuda, not many were done that colour.
I can dig out some pictures i have and post them up if you like.
I really like it as a colour on an E-body too.

I would like to see any pics you have. My Cuda was originally Cream and I have been trying to decide to paint it original or black.
I am looking for photos of cream Cuda's to see. It has been hard to find any.
Weird part, I have a 70 Challenger rt and it was originally cream, although not anymore.

Any one know the count of original Cream colored Cuda's?

Thanks for those pics. They do look pretty nice, and you never see one around that color. I never have till now.
I am just starting body work so I probably change my mind several times before ready for paint!
It gives me thought on keeping it original color vs black.

We shall see when I get to painting time, what color makes the cut.

Thanks again for the pics, as I could find none. Was not a popular color when ordering I guess.

Here's a new guy that just joined.
Not sure exactly what color, but it looks close.

Very different color on a Cuda, and I myself like it. Lot's of black ones out there.

Wow!  A sandpebble beige Gran Coupe!  There is a Sandpebble 340 'cuda survivor that shows up at the Don Garlits Mopar show most every year.  it is my favorite car there. It had the tan interior, and is totally unrestored.

It's a fantastic color and I vote that you keep it. You most likely won't see another at what ever show you go to.    :2thumbs:
In the end you are the one that needs to be happy with it.
