trigger pulled! arrived today! now its wheel bargain time :drool: i also looked at REV wheels classic 100 anthracite rims as another choice. anyone have any experience with them before?

so you had the same experience ? that Being no mods to anything to fit these?

I had an issue with rubbing on the front and had to downsize to P225. There were all kinds of suggestions like rolling the fender lip, etc. but I didn't want to make any modifications. Also, my front wheels are 8" and I could have kept the tires if I went to a 7" wheel.

What on earth was rubbing? The 275/40/17's I run on the 17x9's with 5" backspace on the front of my car stick out an extra 1/2" on the inside AND the outside compared to a 245/45/17 on a 17x8 with 4.5" of backspace.

Only thing I can think of would be that inner fender brace, since you should be more than a 1/2" clear of the fenders. Doesn't look like your car is any lower either.
