One step forward three steps back
« on: March 14, 2014 - 08:19:24 AM »
That seems to be the story of my life right now. I'm trying to plan a new addition and part of that is a new garage. I had to buy one of those canopy/garage things to put one Challenger and my 71 truck in. I get home yesterday and the wind had ripped the anchors out of the ground and fliped it over the fence into the yard next door. So now I got to fix this thing. It didn't rip the canopy but some of the metal parts got bent and tore up.

A few weeks ago my dad passed away. I had to go to Florida and clean out his house. Now I got all this extra stuff in my house and no place to store it.

I'm also working on my basement and found it is leaking water from a crack in the floor. Not sure how to fix that yet.

I just wanted to let you all know I'm still around and trying my best to get back to car stuff. Just seems like everything else is holding me back.

Life seems to go like that. Every once in a while we have a string of challenges that we have to work through. As a friend of mine says, keep your wings level and your eye on the horizon.

I am kind of in the same boat, I to am trying to build another garage, and last august my brother died , he gave me everything including a vette and a truck so now I am over whelmed with alot of stuff and now badly need another garage so I know how you feel , coping with the loss and emotion of tripping over their stuff is a daily shot to the heart    :sadwavey:
