HELP!! shaker setup has me shaken
« on: June 26, 2002 - 05:17:40 PM »
 >:(i finally received my shaker setup from aar fiberglass and am unsure how every thing goes together. like i said its all fiberglass. i know how the grilles and hot/cold doors go but i don't know how the bubble connects to the outer plate to the 6 pk plate plus the outer seal is too small it seems. do you have to stretch it to fit or glue it or what ??? i got the both bases from year one. it's new to me so any help would be appreciated. i also enclosed some pics to see what i have. they're a little fuzzy but you can see it alright!  mike in tn

thanks big mike. it helps some but its too exploded and doesn't show how it looks put together. i 've figured out some but i could get a better picture of it with looking at the actual parts broke down. not many shaker cudas around here in tn. here's my starter 70 440-6 shaker cuda. looks rough but will be sweet when done.

Does the hood use the old hinges with smaller springs
or is it a set on with 4 hood pins?
For $1600. you should have gotten instructions huh!!
Does AAR Fiberglass have a website?

hi 6pkcuda!
the hood uses your hinges and aar/ta hinges like on these model fiber hoods. you can email aar by looking under aar fiberglass. the hood is awesome as well as the bubble. top quality!  hope this helps  mike in tn 8)

Yeah thanks, I saw them at Carlisle and asked the price, they told me $1500. plus the 6 pack base plate. They don't have the base plates yet. Well maybe next year, I've got over $7300. in my body work!! Out of money!!
