My Edelbrock E-Street EFI
« on: April 26, 2014 - 11:28:31 AM »
Well, I finally did it! Got it all installed and running. I haven't taken it out yet since it's raining out but so far everything sounds good. I need to come up with a better way to connect the wires to the battery but other than that the install went fine.

I took the car out today. It ran great. No hesitation or bogging at all. Pulls real strong and settles in to a nice idle when I stop. Seems to working fine. I'm happy!

What zero tuning needed ?
Does it control timing also ?

No tuning needed. I just answered the questions on engine displacement, what type fuel system, what type ignition system, cam duration and where I want the idle set at. The tablet gives you all kinds of info while the motor is running and also allows you to do any custom programing you might want. No, the E-Street will not control timing. I wasn't concerned with controlling the timing since in my case ignition timing was not a problem. As an added bonus Edelbrock has a special going on where they give you a free intake manifold when you buy the E-Street. I didn't need it so I sold it to a friend. Also the table is a nice 7" HP Android tablet that you can use same as any Android tablet.

I'm glad it worked out so good for you as I had to call Edelbrock about a rich condition on cold start ups. So far I'm very happy with my new AFI to.
