Help!! I screwed up...

I have a little leak in my power steering so I thought I would replace the orings on the top. I took off the top piece that holds the lines and replaced the rings. When I put it back on I started up the Barracuda and it sprayed PS fluid all over. I took it apart again and lined it back up but now the car doesn't go straight down the road. It's like it's overboosted and ever little input of the steering wheel sends it over into the next lane.

 Is there some easy fix or did I break something?

the housing has to be centered , the bolts have some wiggler room so loosen the bolts & tap the housing up or down a little until there is zero pull in either direction

OK so I have the wheel turning by itself problem fixed.

Unfortunately, I took the valve body apart and I'm not sure which way the screw slot looking thing is supposed to face. 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock? 12 to 6? Does it matter?

The only way I can explain it is I have lost the self center of the steering wheel.  I have not touched anything else but I have a high speed wander I never had before.

Fixed!!

I guess when I put the check valve back in I bent the screw slot end together and screwed up the fluid flow.  I stole a low mileage one out of another box and saw there was a big difference in the width of the slot.

The car handles better then ever!!
