    How much do these cars weigh?

    Just curious...my registration says that my 70 Barracuda 318 weighs 2895lbs.  That seems REALLY low, especially when I compare it to modern "muscle"  :ack:  cars.  Anybody know for sure ?

     I wouldn't believe your registration.  My 74 is closer  to 3600 lbs with small block and the reinforced bumpers.

    Small block e-bodies go around 3600....big blocks around 3700-3850....depends on what big block is in it.

    I've weighed both of my 71 Cudas. One was a 340 4-speed, the other is a 440 auto.

    340 4-speed: 3260 lbs
    440 w/727: 3460 lbs

    Both of these were without me inside, and slightly lightened (no back seats, no spares).

    Hmmmmm I will weigh mine once complete but I have seen spec sheets showing the 440-4bbl weighing 3600lbs.  ;)

    the later cars weigh more than the earlier cars
