I've had people almost run into my car while trying to take pictures while driving.
The worst issue I have is the local cops. They always follow me. If I take the car out and I see a cop  it's a 80% chance they turn around and follow me. 3-4 times in the last couple seasons they have followed me for about 1/2 hour ( 15 miles or so) and right to my driveway. Most times they turn off after 10 minutes or so.
I'm not sure if they are just admiring the car or waiting for me to got 1MPH over the limit so they can give me a ticket and obtain "hero" status. :pullinghair:
Screw the cops here in my locale. Take the ticket. All the judges in my County are avid Mopar and muscle car collectors. :)  :burnout: Tickets get tossed here in redneck heaven. LOL   Go for it, you r just here to have fun once!  [but, I am a piece of work from 60's 70's]. hehe The younger guys best ignore my opinions!  :roflsmiley:
My wife ?   O.K.
My dog ?    Maybe
My Dodge? NEVER!!!

I live in a town of 20,000 half of which is college (Eastern Illinois University) with another town of 20,000 nearby. I own the only Cuda in my area which is great. But when they follow right on my butt in tight traffic, in my blind spot or stay beside me for several miles giving me the thumbs up over and over and over it gets very aggravating. Theres been a couple of times I had to make an exit just to get away from them. This wasn't something I ever expected. Kind of hard to complain to my friends about it because they would just say I was bragging, but I think you guys will understand. :pullinghair:

So that was you I saw last fall.  We were doing a heat and air change out at Casey's and saw you drive by when we were on lunch.  Nice looking ride.  Is the dragstrip still open down there?  Haven't been down to that track for almost twenty years.

Mine is still in the garage, in pieces and covered, but when someone does get an eyeball on it I start getting nudges... 'hey, you want to sell that?'  You'll never get that back on the road but I will', nudges, emails (if they find that); its annoying.  Yes, life for the last decade has prevented getting much done, but its still my baby and they won't take no for an answer...

. . . I'm not sure if they are just admiring the car . . .

I'm not certain precisely where in the Great North you are but, I can practically, unequivocally, assure you they are admiring the Beast.  Again, can only speak for myself and co- workers but, a car like yours is an incredible respite from all sorts of "bad days !"  I may be wrong but, I seriously doubt it!

When I first got my Cuda I was very nervous when driving. You have to be the most defensive person on the road. I live in a city of 1.2 million people so there are muscle cars of all brands tucked away and you do see them on a nice day. I sometimes get the looks and thumbs up, and other times nothing. I don't care to much about that but you do notice the people that appreciate these beauties. I was once pulled over by a lady cop that watched me do a burn out and she told me she was a car chick so she never wrote me the ticket and just told me to smarten up   :burnout:

It doesn't bother me when people take pictures out the windows while they are driving, as long as it's the passenger doing it. I have had drivers actually start trying to drive AND take pictures. THAT makes me a little nervous...   :grinyes:  It doesn't bother me, but my wife hates it when people stare while she is in the car. For some reason, it upsets her. I tell her to just ignore them, that's what I do....    :icon16:
