I received one of the certified letters today, indicating that I should remove the both spindles from service immediately. The letter goes on to say that I should return the spindles for a free replacement set made through an upgraded process.
I haven't put my front suspension back together yet so this isn't a big problem at this moment. I am curious how shipping costs will be handled and how long it will take to get the replacements. I'll add more details to this post as I get them.
I will give them the benefit of the doubt (for now) for trying to get ahead of the problem.
