fixed quarter windows
« on: April 14, 2014 - 07:43:26 PM »
so I was reading another post and it got me thinking about this again. I have probably the LEAST amount of options on my '70 B'Cuda ever .... basic and bare (my fender tag has exactly 3 lines including the VIN line .... any with less?  :roflsmiley: ). this also means I have fixed quarter windows. so my question to you is: can I upgrade/add the rollers/tracks without a big hassle (eg: no welding or mangling the existing sheet metal)? I haven't found any re-pops, so I'm assuming I'd have to scrounge around? your thoughts?

My 71 barracuda came with fixed windows and I was able modify some challenger regulaters to make the window operable. My fixed window had the main track and the factory used a bolt to keep the window from sliding. The only thing that's missing is the stop to hold the window against the weather seal when it's rolled up.
