Well, it's been several years since I have posted any updates but I've been truckin' right along at a snails pace.
I think this is about where I left off, circa 2009. I removed the right rear quarter to find it was just as crappy underneath as the left side.
I replaced the inner and outer wheelhouse and fabricated/replaced the other rusty crap.
I welded on the new quarter and partially re-skinned the door (not quite done with it yet).
I fitted the trunk lid, taillight panel, rear valance and bumper to see how it all looked. Then I didn't do much to the car for about two years, mainly because I worked 10 hour days, 5 and 6 days a week with an hour commute each way for a while.
Novermber of 2011 I decided I'd had enough of working for the man and quit my job. I moved my car to my buddy's place, more space and less neighbors to disturb, and stripped it down to the shell.
In my several year hiatus AMD had started stamping more and more stuff so I jumped in and bought everything I needed to replace on the car. I started with a nice big chunk of floor and my home-made frame connectors.
Then, the day before New Years I did some self modifying and more or less amputated the end of my finger with an angle grinder. In the battle of cut-off disk Vs. finger, cut-off disk wins every time.
Floors are finally done!
