    Just be careful when installing them and remember what Top Cat had to say about installing them.  I also ripped the clips out of mine and while trying to get them in position put a crease in one.  Fortunately, it's not large and most of it is covered by the plastic side panel.  Just take you time and be careful.   :2thumbs:

    When I installed my headliner and new sail panels I used a damp rag and wiped the back side of the sails cardboard with water and it started to make them flexible then I installed them and let them dry in place. It doesn't take to many wipes to wear you can start to mold it to the curve needed.  It never affected the fabric side either it still looks great today.  I clipped them in place and it worked great.

    crap what are these clips that you guys talk about always havin to buy something else. any one have a pic of these clips and or where I may find them?

    Clips are on the back side of the panels.  I had to take them off my OEM sail panels and epoxy glue them on the REM panels.  You can find them on E-bay. I'm not positive, but I think they may be the same thing as the door panel clips.  Maybe somebody with more knowledge can chime in on that.  Hoover auto parts also carries a lot of those hard to find fasteners/clips/bolts/screws/ etc.  Good luck.

    I I too am in the middle replacing or recovering my sail panels. Had my old ones recovered but the glue did not hold in the heat. Unfortunately I don’t know the type of glue that was used because it was done by a local shop.   From my research it sounds like 3M super 77 is what will hold up to the heat and gravity. Their regular trim adhesive is not for vinyl and the heat. I personally don’t know if the stuff works or not but that is what I was going to try next. My problem is I need new material to put on my old boards. Last year I found a few places that where selling just the material but now all I can find is new covered boards. Anyone know where I can get just the headliner material? Also has anyone had good or bad luck with the 3M Super 77 adhesive in this application?
