THermoQuad Question
« on: November 02, 2013 - 07:09:04 PM »
I have a customer that supplied a 9292S for his 440, I believe it's a 1975 unit.

Where can I find a diagram that shows me where all the hoses hook up ? looks like a lot of extra nipples on this thing... ;)
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

This is a '73 I believe....there may be extra ports on the newer ones but these should all be there & are all that are necessary..Cap any extras.

That does help a little...The confusing thing is that it appears to have two large nipples for the PCV...one in the front and one in the back :clueless:

It's called a bowl vent....relocated starting in '78 from the top of the carb as in earlier models

If your using the charcoal canister this would be where the big hose goes I suppose

                     See section called Port Diagram

The TQ is a master piece.  on reassembly ,don't forget the rubber seals at the bottom of each well .  if it bogs on back barrel hit the air door spring is too loose
or way too tight.  lift rod center adj ,leans out the front .  and i'd have to say i got a couple more mpg with mine. ran well on hot days
