727 Transmission low/reverse band lever

Quick question.... In the bottom right of the attached picture is the 727 low/reverse band lever and adjusting screw/lock nut. Is it supposed to jiggle so much back in forth when i play with it? ...and yes I'm talking about the lever!
Compared to the lever in the bottom left it seems like the low band has a ton of slack in it.

I snug mine up, then back it off the correct number of turns. If it jiggles it jiggles. As long as it stays captured and doesn't fall out, it is normal to do that.
