hood pins?
« on: October 30, 2013 - 07:25:19 PM »
What is correct got a 71 cuda? I have seen all chrome kits and some that the round hood plates and keeper pins are chrome and main pins are stainless or brushed type. Different people say different ones are correct.

Its kinda hard to tell from the pictures but does the main pun look chrome or stainless, brushed? Is it the same as the top plate or a little different

Bezels are stainless, pull pins are usually chrome, pins could be either...

I recently read that cars with hood pins don't use a hood latch? Is this correct? My car has hood pins and a spot for a latch setup???

Make sure you set the Pin holes high enough to keep the cotter keys from rubbing on your bezels... :2thumbs:
