Classic Ind now selling a Keisler SS700??
« on: May 14, 2014 - 09:27:28 AM »
just got the new catalog in the mail ... front inside page has the Keisler SS700 listed =\  (a) didn't Keisler go out of business and screw a bunch a folks out of money with orders and parts never completed? (b) if correct, why is CI now carrying them? (c) I wonder if they are aware of the issues and if they will be backing up any sales/deposits?

maybe i'm wrong, but questionable vendors can make the top vendor look questionable too (eg: did they bother researching keisler and the multitude of issues that folks have had and the massive loss of $$ from folks putting down deposits or ordering and never receiving finished products)

sad, because the price is right and getting one from Passon is a LONG ways out :(

Search the boards for the entire story and then search for the LGT-700.  Bowler seems to be taking them over and becoming a valid distributor.  No variations to fit mopars yet.

I've read a lot of stories here and a couple other boards, which is why this red flagged me. tried to research this last night, but couldn't really find any recent info. if Bowler picked them up, that eases the mind a bit for sure. it was in the brand new CI Mopar catalog, so maybe they are finally releasing one for us?

I just got an email that says Silver Sport Transmissions bought Keisler Engineering assets and technology.

"Will Continue to Offer PerfectFit Tremec TKO 500, 600 and T56 Magnum Complete Conversion Kits"

Just so you know.   :bricks1:

"Perfectfit" is a registered trademark BTW. They should let Passon use that one as it describes his product better. I think everyone knows someone that has had a bad run with those Tremecs.
