WANTED: 71 cuda hood latch/plate/release assembly

hello all,
I have been searching everywhere, looking for the correct hood latch plate, release with correct arm (top mount) side to side pivot release style for a 71 cuda. found a few pictures of what looks to be the correct style, everything listed and sold else where is the wrong style (arm under, up /down pivot)

(top picture)
style needed
only really need latch assembly and upper pivot arm

(bottom picture) only style I can find does not work with header panel or grill

and purchased item.

so, now the arm is on the way,
but what about the latch mechanism itself,
I noticed that some others are similar, (that use arm release function)
is there others that work in the same manner?

Dang it, why do I keep missing out on these. I really need a hood release lever, but dont want to spend crazy money for one...

so, now that I have the release arm,
I still need the latch it self and the hook.

does anyone have or know what latch mechanisms are usable with this type of top mount side release  direction arm?
Also what and where a secondary latch/safety catch (hook) can be used or found?

or if these two parts are once again specific only to that year

Any year Cuda secondary latch will work...And I would think any 71-74 latch would work too...

The hood latch from a 72-74 Challenger should work too
